He added 'We have had extremely positive feedback from a number of people about this and already a wide variety of messages have already been received for engraving. People are anxious to record their attendance at certain games like the All Blacks in 1978 or the 'Miracle Match' while others have simply listed family members' names to appear on The Munster Walk. The range of options is limitless and no doubt some suggestions will be very inventive. This is a wonderful way for supporters to record their support and be part of the new era for Munster Rugby.'
Paul O'Connell, the Munster Captain, commenting on the activity added "The Munster Walk certainly looks like a very interesting initiative and one I believe that deserves a lot of support from Munster people"
The bricks come in two formats, single and double with two lines of text on a single brick and four lines on a double brick with either black or gold lettering, supporters will also have the option to purchase a replica brick for their home or office. In addition to Munster fans observing their personalised brick on "The Munster Walk" as they enter and leave the stadium they will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each brick purchased.
The East stand behind where the walkway will situated will accommodate, a large public bar, an additional Munster Rugby Store, 20 corporate boxes, two large conference rooms with capacities of 500 and 200 in addition to extensive hospitality and catering facilities throughout the stand.
