Davies was part of the Wales side that stopped England's Grand Slam bid in Cardiff, retaining the Championship in the process.
And the Lions hopeful has carried on where he left off with his country since his return to the RaboDirect PRO12 as Scarlets have won their last five to move into the play-off positions.
And still only 25, the centre produced a man of the match performance against the Blues last time out that saw his side put some distance between themselves and Ospreys for the fourth and final play-off spot.
"I don't feel that senior and I still have my moments. But it's something I'm enjoying and hopefully I'm doing an OK job at it," he told Wales Online.
"It's part of the rugby process. You start off a youngster and when you get appearances and caps, you've got to make sure you set standards in training.
"I looked up to Stephen Jones and Regan King when they were here. It's time to make sure that boys coming through have got someone to look up to.
"When you come back to your region from Test duty, players look up to you and they look for the international players to deliver performances.
"It doesn't happen all the time. But when it's on the line, we've got to deliver. I'm just enjoying playing for the boys."
