Based in Somerset, London, Cardiff and Dublin, Rhino is best known as the world's leading supplier of scrummaging machines, contact and training equipment for rugby. In 2013 the company completed its second British & Irish Lions tour as Official Supplier of these products in addition to being the Official Ball Supplier to those Lions tours.

Last season Ian Madigan of Leinster won the Rhino Golden Boot Award with 87.04% narrowly edging out Dan Biggar of the Ospreys, and the Rhino Collision Kings Award for the most proficient team at the breakdown was won by Glasgow Warriors. The Rhino Golden Boot Award will be contested again this season.
