Leinster have not lost in the league since December and the 22-year-old is keen to ensure that doesn't change as his side enter the final stages of the season.
But errors against Toulon haven't gone unnoticed and Murphy revealed that there were more than a few glum faces scattered around their dressing room afterwards.
With just four games left for Leinster, Muprhy is hoping that there will be no residual effects from Sunday's defeat and that his side can get straight back to winning ways against Ospreys.
"More than a few front-up tackles were missed, and you can't go to France and play a team like Toulon and expect to win," Murphy told the Irish Examiner.
"We've had a culture of winning in the last few years and we want to keep that up.
"We can't do anything about last Sunday now, so what's the point in thinking about it?
"The dressing room was not a very happy place after. We want to make sure that doesn't happen to us in the Rabo either now. We know what we have to do, we just have to win."
