Easterby's men were beaten 17-13 by Welsh rivals Cardiff Blues last time out at the Millennium Stadium but still have a stronghold over sixth place in the RaboDirect PRO12.
Just two games remain this season but Scarlets will have home advantage in both as they welcome Newport Gwent Dragons this Friday, followed by another fixture with the Blues.
And Easterby insists he needs to see more from his players, who will have to make the opposition work a little bit harder to score any points.
"We are a far better team than we showed against the Blues and we are frustrated and disappointed we did not show more positives in our game," he told the Llanelli Star.
"We just did not fire any shots in the first-half against the Blues. We allowed them to win the territory and the possession battle and there was too much error in our game.
"A lot of the things the Blues were able to do was as much down to our error as it was to their good work.
"I thought they wanted it a bit more. It was not everyone, but a few of our players did not turn up in that first-
half."
