Warriors narrowly lost at the RDS in March and return to the stadium as the first Scottish side to play in the league's final, looking for a reversal in fortunes.
And Taylor insists that the hype surrounding Brian O'Driscoll's final game is not affecting Glasgow's preparations, saying that his side are confident of mounting a serious challenge to the reigning champions.
"I'm sure Brian will be hoping to play well and I'm sure Leinster will be hoping to play well and send him off in a winning team," Taylor said.
"But, in terms of how we're looking at it, Brian's just another player and we're looking at his traits as we are the rest of the 23 players.
"We've had some really close tussles with Leinster.
"They've been in finals, they are a well-coached team and they've got a lot of history there, but we're a team that's up and coming and we feel we're in a pretty good space.
"We're not daunted at all by the challenge. We're all striving to get better and Leinster have probably been the best team in Europe for the last five, six, seven years, so we can't wait to play them."
