Throughout the off-season, players from the GUINNESS PRO12 outfit have been getting their hands dirty after volunteering to assist with a number of projects in the community.
The clubs to have benefited from their hard work include Seven Sisters RFC and Resolven RFC and just a few days after Dan Biggar, Nicky Thomas and Dafydd Howells popped into Crynant RFC, Porthcawl was next on the list.
Ospreys sent a strong squad down there for the day, as Scott Baldwin, Andrew Bishop, Rhys Webb and Lloyd Evans gave the club a lick of paint just in time for the new season.
And Tracey Williams, assistant secretary at the club, was impressed with the way the players got stuck into all sorts of tasks.
"We were thrilled when we heard the Ospreys were willing to help us with our painting," she said.
"It's great to see the players getting involved with the community at a grassroots level, which provides a great example for our younger players.
"Ospreys player Ryan Bevington started his career at Porthcawl RFC and he continues to be a great supporter and coaches our minis, juniors and seniors.
"As you can imagine, players and members of all ages are extremely proud of his achievements and are truly grateful for his continued support of his home club, including his father who is also Chairman of Porthcawl RFC."
Andrew Hore, Ospreys Chief Executive, added: "It's important to us to show that we are a community-minded organisation and to reiterate how important our supporters are to us.
"Our players enjoy getting out and about in the community as it provides a great opportunity for them to engage with supporters."
