Sean Lamont, Duncan Weir, Ryan Grant, Fraser Brown, Tim Swinson, Gordon Reid and Henry Pyrgos are all included in the matchday 23, after featuring for Scotland in the recent viagogo Autumn Tests.
Jones starts on the right wing, with the returning Canadian international DTH van der Merwe on the left side.
Peter Murchie continues at full-back, with Lamont at outside centre and Peter Horne in the No.12 shirt.
Duncan Weir and Niko Matawalu form the half-back partnership.
In the forwards Grant and Brown return at loose-head and hooker, with Jon Welsh making his first start of the season at tight-head, after coming off the bench against the Scarlets last weekend.
Swinson is back in the second-row and partners captain Al Kellock, while Leone Nakarawa returns at blind-side flanker, with Chris Fusaro operating at open-side and Ryan Wilson starting at Number 8.
Pyrgos has recovered from a head knock picked up playing for Scotland against Argentina earlier this month and is named on the bench.
Tickets for the game are still available from www.glasgowwarriors.org and the ticket office at Scotstoun Stadium will be open from 12pm on Sunday.
Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "We were disappointed with the performance and result down at the Scarlets last weekend and we are determined to deliver a much better performance on Sunday.
"The Dragons beat us home and away in the league last season and we will face a tough contest this weekend.
"It's great to be back home as we enter a really crucial part of the season. Sunday's game will be the start of a run of five GUINNESS PRO12 games to be played either at Scotstoun or across in Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield.
"The players get a huge boost playing in front of our own supporters and we're looking forward to the game this weekend."
