The Game On programme, which works with 16-19-year-olds not in education, employment or training across Glasgow and the West, took a team to BT Murrayfield to square up against their Edinburgh counterparts.
The match was a curtain raiser to the Brewin Dolphin Schools Cup Finals, which had over 5,000 fans in attendance.
Following the footsteps of the Scotland team, the players ran out of the tunnel and onto the floodlit international pitch whilst their names were called out by the announcer, in an experience most rugby fans can only dream about.
The match was an entertaining affair and in the end the Warriors were outdone 29-7.
Following the game, players from both sides were treated to hospitality and speeches from members of the Wooden Spoon charity and professional players, including Warriors Chris Fusaro and Peter Horne.
A number of the Glasgow squad were also presented with their Game On: Certificate of Progression, which recognises the hard work they have put in to complete the 12 week programme.
Reece McNaught, 17, who captained the Warriors, said: "The whole day was amazing, most of us had never even been to BT Murrayfield before so I couldn't believe that we had the chance to play in it!"
And Glasgow Warriors Community Coach Robert McKinstray, who works with the Game On group, added: "I'd like to thank Game On Edinburgh for inviting us over to play at BT Murrayfield as all the guys really enjoyed themselves and I'm sure they'll be talking about it for years to come.
"We're now looking forward to having Edinburgh Game On over to our patch for the return fixture, which will take place on the main pitch at Scotstoun at half-time in the match between Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh on December 27."
