The first of two half-term Rugby Camps was hosted at the Urdd's famous and historical adventure camp site, where approximately 130 children attended to hone their rugby skills.
The community coaches were aided by two rising stars of the region, the back row giants Jack Condy and Wales Under-20s flanker, Josh Macleod.
Condy, 21, was extremely pleased with how the camp went and was pleasantly surprised by the number of young players present at the camp:
"I can honestly say I had a great time helping the community team out with the coaching. They're an enthusiastic bunch and they showed some real rugby potential."
Macleod too thoroughly enjoyed himself. "It's strange coming back to Llangrannog but being on the coaching side of things," he said. "I've come here before when I was younger but now I'm here helping out with the rugby, it's fantastic.
"The kids were really enthusiastic and it's even better seeing them enjoy themselves whilst speaking Welsh, which is obviously a very positive sign for both us and the Urdd. It was opportunities like these that helped me not only progress with my rugby, but to make new friends that I probably would never have met otherwise."
Scarlets locks Tom Price and Lewis Rawlins along with Australian-born Jack Payne were helping the community team out at Parc y Scarlets and the trio were delighted with the camp's success.
"It's fantastic to be able to help the children of the community and the region who show great support for the Scarlets; so it's great being able to welcome them to our ground and do our bit," said Price.
"There are definitely some future stars in the mix here and hopefully opportunities like this will help further develop their skills and one day allow them to pull on the red jersey!" said Price.
The Scarlets Half-Term Rugby Camp attendees will be at Parc y Scarlets on Friday night as Scarlets take on Benetton Treviso, and they'll all be participating in Cochyn's pre-match parade.
