Alan Quinlan has been a key figure in Munster’s continued Celtic and European success.

Alan made his provincial debut back in 1996 and was a tryscorer on his European debut against Harlequins a year later.

By the close of 2009, he had played 87 Magners League games having been named in the starting line up on 73 occasions.

A Magners League winner with Munster in 2008, Alan was Man of the Match when they claimed the Celtic Cup with victory over Neath in 2003.

He has claimed two Heineken Cup winners medals following victory over Biarritz in 2006 and Toulouse in 2008.

Having captained his country at Youth level, Alan has gone on to play 27 times for Ireland and been named in three successive World Cup squads.

He made his international debut against Romania at the 1999 World Cup and was a traveling reserve during Ireland’s historic Grand Slam campaign 10 years later.
