Sean Lamont joined the Scarlets at the start of the current season and is now in his second spell of Magners League rugby having previously represented Glasgow in 2004 and 2005.

Born in Scotland but brought up in England, Sean started his career at Rotherham in England’s National One.

After returning to Glasgow six years ago, Sean moved back to England with Northampton Saints.

He became the first Northampton player for a decade to score four tries in a game when he starred against Saracens in 2006.

Sean spent four years at Franklin’s Gardens between 2005 and 2009 before switching to West Wales in the summer.

He won his first Scotland cap on tour in Samoa in 2004 and scored a memorable brace of tries as Scotland beat France 20-16 at Murrayfield two years later.

Sean was named the Famous Grouse Scotland Player of the Season in 2007 but missed most of the 2007/08 campaign with a serious knee injury.

Sean finished the 2009 calendar year with 40 caps to his name and is expected to feature during the 2010 Six Nations.
