Munster's last RaboDirect PRO12 game was against the Italians at Thomond Park, where they won 29-11 but Foley knows the Italians will be looking to exploit any slow starters.

"I think it's important that we hit the ground running after being inactive for over a month now," Foley.

"What I'd be looking for is performance although I'd expect there to be a bit of rustiness there, that's only to be expected.

"But the lads have gone well in training so hopefully they can deal with that."

The Munstermen have lost their last four away games in the RaboDirect PRO12 since their 18-13 victory at Cardiff Blues on 23 September.

Full-back Felix Jones is named in Munster's match-day 22 for the first time this season having recovered from an ankle ligament injury that has side-lined him for six months.

Ronan O'Gara takes up his spot at fly-half while the side is captained by Mick O'Driscoll, alongside Donnacha Ryan, in the engine room.

Treviso haven't won a match full stop since New Year's Eve when they beat fellow-Italians Aironi 37-14 in the league.

But when they hosted Munster in this fixture last year they secured one of the season's biggest upsets in their 19-18 victory thanks to four Willem De Waal penalties and a conversion and a try by flanker Gonzalo Padro.

De Waal is at fly-half for this match and is joined by six returning Italian internationals, five to the starting line-up.

Azzurri first choice, Edoardo Gori, is on the bench so Fabio Semenzato will partner the South-African De Waal in the half-backs.

Corniel Van Zyl and Antonio Pavenello return to bolster the second row, pushing last Friday's captain against Leinster, Valerio Bernabo, onto the bench.

Tommaso Iannone, 21, was an unused replacement in Treviso's 42-8 loss at the RDS but will start on the right wing..
