Connacht's most recent win against Ulster was in Galway on 31 December 2005, the sides played out a 15-all draw in round four at the Sportsground - their first tie since 1991! Connacht have not won in Belfast for half a century - 16 November 1960 to be precise.
Ulster's six game winning run in the Magners League ended with their defeat against Leinster in Dublin on Saturday evening. The Ulstermen have won their last six matches at Ravenhill in all competitions since Leinster won there on 27 December.
Connacht have won three of their last five games, but have gained just one away victory in the Magners League since April 2008: 19-17 at Glasgow on 17 September 2010.
