The 25-year-old now turns his attentions back to Scarlets as they look to close the ten-point gap to the RaboDirect PRO12 top four in the final six games of the season.
Davies is set to join French side Clermont Auvergne in the summer and he wants to finish life at the region on a high - as well as heading to South Africa with Wales this summer on top form.
"I have had three months off and I am ready to go," he said. "We have got a few games left with the Scarlets and I want to make sure my time at the Scarlets finishes on a good note.
"I am very proud of the region I supported as a kid and I am looking forward to getting some opportunities on the bounce.
"Just after January I went back with the Wales coaches and did some rehab and some intense training and stuff. It was pretty much like a pre-season.
"Obviously, I was a bit rusty, but I came back and the legs weren't too bad. I am grateful for what the Scarlets and Wales physios and conditioners have done to get me in shape.
"It is exciting for the rest of the season. We have a good run-in with the Scarlets and hopefully a summer tour of South Africa.
"We want to challenge ourselves against one of the best teams in the world, so there is a lot to play for."
