Appearances against the Ospreys - not to mention the impressive victory over Ulster last time out - have seen Allen getting back up to speed and he's desperate to finish on a high and ensure a busy summer.
"It is definitely a personal goal of mine," Allen told Wales Online. "We have no trophy to go for with the Blues even though the way we finish the season is very important, so yes, I really want to make that South African tour.
"The rugby experience there is brilliant, very professional. You come up against a lot of experienced older guys.
"I played in the Junior World Championship out there for the Under-20s when we got to the semi-finals and lost to New Zealand.
"And I think being around the more senior guys in the Wales squad helps my development as well.
"If I do get to go, hopefully it will be nice and warm out there so we can play some rugby."
