The 20-year-old scored two tries for the Probables in the 55-7 rout against the Possibles at the Liberty Stadium at the weekend which secured him a place in Warren Gatland's 32-man squad.
Wales legend Shane Williams scored one of the finest tries of his career the last time Wales toured South Africa in 2008 and his namesake remembers it fondly.
But having scored six tries in the RaboDirect PRO12 this season, uncapped Jordan Williams is looking to create memories of his own.
"I remember in 2008 when Shane took Habana on the outside and, hopefully, I can do the same this time around," he told Wales Online.
"Shane succeeded as a smaller player for numerous years, didn't he? You look at him and obviously I'm a similar type of player to him. People always look at me and think I'm too small.
"I've had those comments over the years and I've just cracked on with my rugby - hopefully I've proved them wrong.
"I hope to stake a claim for the Test jersey. I hope my size can work to my advantage.
"I've put a bit of weight on from last year and hopefully going to South Africa with it will help me take on their big guns."
