The Welsh region may have been undone by a George North-inspired Northampton in Europe last weekend but in the PRO12 they remain the only unbeaten team, with a perfect six wins from six.
Victory over Connacht would see Steve Tandy's side equal the start they made to the 2004/5 season and considering the Welshmen have not lost at the Liberty Stadium since January it would appear Connacht have their work cut out for them.
Fly-half Biggar has been the driving force behind their strong start and those efforts are supported by his superb kicking statistics.
The Welsh international is currently on a streak of 11 successful kicks in a row and tops the PRO12 charts with a kicking accuracy of 92.86%.
Just behind him in the charts is Leinster's Ian Madigan on 89.29% but the Leinsterman can console himself with the fact that he leads his Welsh counterpart in the overall points table by seven with his total of 77.
Madigan is on duty with Ireland but the versatile back only needs seven more points to reach 500 in his PRO12 career and he will be hoping the men in blue can keep their enviable home run of 22 games unbeaten at the RDS when Edinburgh come to town.
Elsewhere Munster's Ian Keatley will also be with Ireland meaning he will remain agonisingly 14 points short of 1,000 career PRO12 points.
The door is open for Rhys Patchell to jump to the front of the points table however, the fly-half has been overlooked by Wales so will be available for the Blues and needs to notch nine points to take the lead.
But it will be tough against a Munster side that they have only managed to beat once in their last eight encounters and not at BT Sport Arms Park since May 2009.
Elsewhere Benetton Treviso have slipped to 11 straight defeats and will be desperate to put that to a halt at Glasgow Warriors while Scarlets have not lost at the Parc y Scarlets since January and they welcome Zebre to town.
And Ulster play host to Newport Gwent Dragons with Neil Doak's side hoping to keep up their enviable record against Welsh opposition at home, the Ospreys the last side to win in Belfast in November of last year.
