Last year's losing finalists Glasgow started this GUINNESS PRO12 campaign seemingly with a point to prove, winning their opening five clashes.
However, Friday's 19-9 defeat at Parc y Scarlets was the Warriors' second loss in their last three games as they slipped down to fourth in the GUINNESS PRO12 table.
And full-back Murchie is determined not to let these defeats become a habit at Scotstoun, with Newport Gwent Dragons next up on Sunday.
"None of us enjoy losing," Murchie told the Glasgow Evening Times. "Winning is a habit and it's something we've become good at.
"I was hurting over the weekend, I'm sure everyone else was the same. But that's important you don't just gloss over it, a defeat has to mean something.
"But you have to move on quickly. If you let a defeat drag on into the week it can impact on your preparation for the next game.
"We've been working hard out on the training pitch to rectify it and I'm very confident we will bounce back."
