The GUINNESS PRO12 club must soon turn their attentions entirely to domestic action after their 40-23 defeat to Leicester Tigers last week ended any opportunity to advance to the knockout stages in Europe.
But with full-back Liam Williams in line for a return from a shoulder injury and the chance to get one over on the back-to-back winners of the elite European competition, Scott Williams has assured those watching on at Parc y Scarlets that his team will not simply go through the motions.
"We spoke in the changing room after the [Leicester] game that a lot of people had written us off before the competition began and we showed we can play against these top teams," he told the South Wales Evening Post.
"We have got to hold our heads up because we can take a lot out of the competition.
"Toulon are coming to us on Saturday and we want to finish on a high and put a marker down for next season."
