Wales may have triumphed 26-23 on Sunday at Murrayfield, but it is the table-topping Warriors who will go into the crucial GUINNESS PRO12 game as slight favourites if the form book is anything to go by.
Glasgow's only league defeat since round eight was away in Edinburgh on January 2 and they have won their last 15 GUINNESS PRO12 matches played at Scotstoun since Newport Gwent Dragons pitched up in November 2013.
Meanwhile, Ospreys' only win in their last five matches in all competitions was 13-10 at Bath in the Anglo-Welsh Cup on February 7.
Steve Tandy' third-placed side have been defeated in their last four away games in the GUINNESS PRO12, while their only win in their last ten visits to Scotland - dating back to 2009 - was over Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield in February 2012.
Sitting pretty between both Glasgow and Ospreys are second-placed Munster, who travel to Scarlets on Saturday looking to improve their recent away-day blues.
The Munstermen - for whom CJ Stander will be looking to improve on his five tries this season with many of his main contenders unavailable - have won just one of their last five away games in all tournaments, that being their 31-7 victory over Zebre on January 10.
But, ominously for the Irish province, Scarlets' last four fixtures in the GUINNESS PRO12 have all been won by the home side, and the Llanelli outfit have not been defeated on their own soil in the league since rivals Ospreys were the visitors on Boxing Day 2013.
And with plenty of the play-off chasing pack keen to keep an eye on proceedings at Parc y Scarlets, the start of the GUINNESS PRO12 trials of the Hawk-Eye technology system should provide added interest.
Elsewhere, fourth-placed Ulster will be looking to take another step towards a home GUINNESS PRO12 final when they travel to Edinburgh.
Ulster ran in six tries in defeating Benetton Treviso at Kingspan Stadium on Friday - a game in which Craig Gilroy became the club's youngest ever centurion - and have lost just one of their last four GUINNESS PRO12 matches.
Gilroy (5) will be looking to catch Ospreys' Rhys Webb (7) at the top of the GUINNESS PRO12 try-scoring charts, but Edinburgh have lost just one of their last five league encounters so something will have to give at BT Murrayfield.
Reigning champions Leinster will be keen to reclaim a top-four berth with a home tie against bottom side Zebre on Friday and history is on their side.
Leinster have won all five previous encounters with Zebre, outscoring the Italians by 20 tries to five, with Zebre gaining no league points and Leinster a maximum on four occasions.
Benetton Treviso remain just three points above their Italian rivals in the table and host Cardiff Blues looking to secure just their second victory over the Welsh side in ten attempts.
And, finally, Newport Gwent Dragons welcome Connacht to Rodney Parade looking to improve on a home record which has brought just two wins from six GUINNESS PRO12 games.
