The Welsh region currently sit seventh in the table, locked in a three-way battle for sixth with Connacht - who are one point ahead - and Edinburgh, who are three behind them.
The Welsh side are unbeaten at home this season in the GUINNESS PRO12 and face Edinburgh this weekend in a crunch clash at Parc y Scarlets.
And Williams, who scored two tries for Wales this month, returns to club duty desperate to continue the region's climb up the standings.
"It is a little bit of a difference but this is our bread and butter," Williams told Wales Online.
"We all want to be playing in Europe next year so that's enough motivation.
"We spoke on Monday morning about what our goals are for the next five games we have left.
"We know we have to try and win them all. It's going to be tough but a realistic goal if we want to finish in the top six."
