A thrilling 34-34 draw at the RDS last time out maintained the Scotstoun side's position at the GUINNESS PRO12 summit, but they face a difficult run-in which includes shootouts with two of their title rivals in the final two weeks.
That being said, scrum-half Pyrgos admits his team have no problem with being the ones to catch as they prepare for the visit of Cardiff Blues on Friday.
"It's great, it's what you want - you want the big games at the end of the season," the 25-year-old said.
"Every team wants to be in that play-off spot. We are obviously in a good position at the moment, but we are taking nothing for granted.
"We're well placed at the moment, but things can change quickly.
"You see throughout the league there are a lot of teams picking up bonus points, so you never know what's going to happen.
"You cannot stand still because teams will overtake you.
"We've got some hard games, and we are fully concentrating on Cardiff and then Connacht coming up - two tough games in the coming weeks.
"We just need to focus on this to get the win, and then we'll keep looking ahead and trying to improve."
