Man of the match Manoa Vosawai and Rhys Patchell both had tries chalked off by the TMO while a first-half driving maul saw the ball spilled over the line by the home side.
And while Wilson was pleased with the victory - they now plan for their next league clash with Treviso with plenty to improve on.
"It's a win - we left a fair few opportunities and points on the field though," Wilson told the Blues website.
"We had a few tries disallowed, which there was an argument for giving, and then the driving lineout that went over the line but we lost control of the ball.
"It could have been more and I felt we were relatively in control for most of the game. But our accuracy wasn't as it has been and changes to the team can do that to you.
"We have this period during the Six Nations with this squad to improve that accuracy now. We defended really well against a fair few attacks and we dealt with their driving lineout.
"It's a win and a pleasing one at home, but there is plenty to work on now as we go forward."
