Lovotti returns for Zebre

The opponents of Geldenhuys and his team mates will be Edinburgh, a side beaten by the Italians 19-11 in the first leg of the Guinness PRO12 encounter last October in Parma. The 19th round of the competition will see many internationals who faced each other in Rome in February in the third round of the RBS 6 Nations. Compared to the last game played in Limerick on Friday Zebre Rugby can count on the return of two other Azzurri: prop Lovotti and fly-half Canna who both wear the white & black striped jersey for the first time in three months since the away win in Treviso at the beginning of January. Added to the long list of unavailable players is lock Bernabo by a minor injury suffered against Munster. The Scots occupy seventh place in the table rankings with 10 wins and 8 losses, just 5 points from Munster, currently fourth in the standings. After three away games without grabbing points, Zebre will try to gain points away from Lanfranchi in the final sprint of the season which then will see them play three of the last four games at home in Parma.

The prestigious Murrayfield, the home of Scottish Rugby Union, will host the fourth match between the two teams with the Ialians never victorious in Scotland. The Scottish capital stadium - hosts of the Scottish national team and venue of the next Guinness PRO12 final - has seen Edinburgh defeated in the season only twice out of 12 games: by Munster in November and by the table leaders Connacht 28-23 one month ago.
