Scotland backrower Wilson - who has made 12 Guinness PRO12 appearances so far this season - is the first to admit that the Warriors put in a sub-par performance that day.
But having worked harder than ever over the last two weeks to make sure the same thing does not happen again, the 27-year-old is convinced Gregor Townsend's side are ready to make history.
"We were the first Scottish side to win a title, so why can't we be the first side to win an away semi," he said.
"I believe that we can do that with the team we've got, with everything we've got here. It's something we know we can do.
"At the end last week we were pressing with 14 men and could have won. A few of the boys have spoken about that.
"In the last 30 minutes we seem to get back up, and they maybe tired a little bit. That's something we'll be looking to repeat this week.
"Last week we were in all week and we looked at everything - what we did right, what we did wrong, where we could be better.
"We've done a hell of a lot of learning and we're not wanting to play the way we played when we were out there last Saturday.
"I've heard that the weather is meant to be pretty much the same, but that's good for us, because we can carry on putting the ball in their half and trying to keep them in there."
