But their squad is set to take a very different shape next season, with the likes of Gonzalo Garcia, Leonardo Sarto, Marco Bortolami, Kelly Haimona, and Mils Muliaina all leaving the club.
Of the 16 men departing, 15 are joining other clubs while Bortolami has hung up his boots for good after making 66 appearances for Zebre and 49 as skipper.
"A big thank you to everyone," said De Rossi. "We wish all the players good luck at their new clubs and in the countries that will host them next season.
"We especially wish all the best to Bortolami who is finishing his playing career and is starting a coaching role.
"This group have all demonstrated the perfect professionalism and commitment to the club. Everyone will always be part of the Zebre family.
"The non-renewal of their contracts by Garcia and Sarto was taken by the athletes themselves, and not by the club.
"But we are honoured to have known a champion like Muliaina. Although the contribution of Mils in the field was not consistent because of injuries, we believe that his contribution as a person and his experience of playing for the All Blacks has been invaluable to me and this group."
