Wales internationals Rob Evans and Samson Lee were both absent for the game at Parc y Scarlets at the weekend but the Australian-born prop is expecting a much-improved performance in Scotland this weekend.
"I don't think it is a concern," Evans told the South Wales Evening Post.
"It was the first game, there are little changes we have to make, but all in all, it went ok.
"The northern hemisphere style of scrummaging is different to the south.
"Down there it is get it in, get it out and get on with it, here you are down for a lot longer. He will get his head around it.
"The laws are always changing, teams are always employing new tactics, you come up against different stuff every game. We will turn it around, I am sure of it."
Evans, if fit, will travel with Scarlets to Edinburgh on Friday night to take on a Scottish side that also fell to an opening weekend defeat, 34-16 against Cardiff Blues.
And the 27-year-old was keen to switch his focus on to the Edinburgh game and another tough challenge this Friday night.
"We were gutted with last weekend's result," he added.
"Munster had a few players missin, so it was a real opportunity to knock them off, but we have got to look forward now and try and turn that around.
"They (Edinburgh) have got a big pack, but I think we have the players to do it.
"Edinburgh lost against Cardiff, so I am pretty sure they will be feeling the same way and coming at us hard. We need to focus on that game now.
"You have to have a short-term memory in rugby, you can be top of the world one minute and down in the dumps the next.
"You review the game and then you put it to bed and then you are totally focused on the next game."
