Clinton Schifcofske joined Ulster from Queensland Reds at the start of the 2008/09 season.

He is in his second year of a three-year contract and has been a regular starter under both Matt Williams and Brian McLaughlin.

Clinton hails from Australia and was capped by his country at ‘A’ level during the Pacific Nations Cup in 2007.

A former Rugby League star, Clinton enjoyed successful spells with the Parramatta Eels and Canberra Raiders before switching codes in 2006.

Clinton’s total of 1,604 points during his time in Rugby League places him ninth in the all-time scoring charts for the NRL.

His first season in Rugby Union saw him make 10 Super 14 appearances for the Reds, scoring 104 points, and represent a World XV against the Springboks.

Clinton started 14 of Ulster’s 18 Magners League fixtures last season and has again regularly been one of the first names on the Ulster team sheet so far this season.
