Cavinato cut a satisfied figure on Friday evening after Zebre finally recorded their first ever win in European rugby - at the 14th attempt - with a 26-21 victory over Brive in France.
Fly-half Edoardo Padovani was flawless with the boot, with six successful kicks from six attempts at goal, and Kelly Haimona and Valerio Bernabo went over for the visitors to seal the win.
But while Cavinato hailed the performance of his side he knows they face a much tougher test against the Llanelli outfit next week in the GUINNESS PRO12.
"This was an important victory for us that releases us from the pressure we had after the poor performance last Saturday against Oyonnax," he said.
"A very positive part of it for us was the desire to redeem ourselves after that, and the passion and heart that everyone put in from the first minute.
"We had a lot more determination. I'm not happy, however, to have suffered three tries to counterattacks as we knew it was their best weapon and we did not defend against it properly.
"(George) Biagi has made an international standard performance which I hope continues, and Padovani was also very good.
"He kicked at 100% despite the difficult kicks. But it was a victory for the group and not the individual.
"I am now asking the squad to put all their concentration into the GUINNESS PRO12 game on Saturday. We have a tough trip to Llanelli against a team that is always very efficient at home."
