Cristiano leads Zebre Rugby at the renamed Stadio Lanfranchi

Flanker Cristiano will captain the Italian team which has got the target to maintain the form in the home stadium after the win against the French team CA Brive on January 17th, the last encounter in front of the home crowd in the EPCR Challenge Cup.

The Warriors have won four of their last five games in the Guinness PRO12, defeated only in the return leg derby at Murrayfield Stadium by Scots cousins Edinburgh. Coach Townsend side does not want to lose points ahead of the important home match next weekend against the table leaders Ospreys. The Scots, however, have not won away from Scotstoun Stadium in the Guinnes PRO12 since the Treviso away match in October 2014.

Zebre Rugby can count on the new signing - the Moldovan international lock Mahu - and on four permit players from the top Italian league Eccellenza: Rugby Calvisano lock Cavalieri and hooker Ferraro -both permit players last year for the white & blacks in the PRO12 - while the young duo Rugby Viadana 1970 lock Ruzza and Lazio Rugby 1927 flanker Riccioli could earn their overall debut in the tournament starting from the bench.

Both sides could not select many internationals called by Scotland and Italy for their Six Nations fixture: 10 Warriors on the Scots list and 12 Zebre into Italy's squad against England tomorrow at Twickenham. The Sunday's game in Parma is scheduled just before the last game of the Six Nations 2nd round between Scotland and Wales at 4 pm which will be broadcasted live into the CONAD Third Half Time tent on big screens.
