They currently sit bottom of the table with three wins all season, four points behind fellow Italian side Benetton Treviso.
The Italians were dealt a further blow with the news today that fly-half Kelly Haimona faces three months out after undergoing surgery on his right arm.
But with a number of players returning from international duty this week, Jimenez believes there are still reasons for optimism.
They face a trip to fourth-placed Ospreys next on Saturday and the Zebre coach believes a settled squad will start to pay dividends.
"We come into the final stretch of the season with pretty much a full roster of players, apart from a few long-term absentees like Giulio Bisegni, Tommaso D'Apice and Kelly Haimona. That makes the competition within the squad even higher," he told Zebre's official website.
"We always aim to send out players who are at 100% mentally and physically. "We have a settled group right now and we will decide the team from week to week.
"We always set out to win every game, but we are aware of the difficulties and the level of our opponents.
"We will approach the game in Wales [against the Ospreys] in the same way as we always do, with the group that has prepared for this challenge in recent weeks plus the a few of the players who were on national duty in place of the permit players we signed during the Six Nations window."
