Postiglioni has been capped by the Pumas 18 times since his 2012 debut, and featured in last season's Rugby Championship clashes with South Africa and Australia.
And as well as looking forward to his first taste of European rugby, Postiglioni is excited to join up with some familiar faces at Zebre.
"I know the GUINNESS PRO12 is one of the best leagues in Europe, challenging and very competitive," he said.
"My goal is to play as much as possible, have the confidence of the team and do what the coaches ask of me.
"I'm a player who likes to be at the complete disposal of the team, I love the game with a high tempo made of many phases.
"It's always good to join up with team-mates who I have shared many experiences with before, and in particular I'm very happy to have my countryman Guillermo Roan here as well.
"He's a long-time friend with whom I have lived and shared a lot of moments on and off the field."
And team manager of Italian side, former Azzurri skipper Andrea De Rossi, believes the Argentine could be the missing piece of the puzzle for the Zebre pack.
He said: "We have completed our front row line-up for this season with the addition of a prop of the highest level, who chose to come to Zebre for his first taste of European rugby.
"He has had a distinguished career in the highest level club and national side in Argentina.
"Postiglioni is a very aggressive and determined forward. I hope he will be selected for the Pumas at the World Cup in England, but otherwise the club is ready to welcome him to the second part of the summer training."
