Wilson excited by the prospect of record try-scorer's return

The Wales international rejoined the club in the summer and marked his return in style in their opening game of the GUINNESS PRO12 season with a fine finish in the 61-13 victory over the Italian side.

The 28-year-old has not played since due to a foot injury but is fit once again and in contention for the reverse GUINNESS PRO12 fixture against Zebre at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi on Saturday.

"It's great news that Tom is pushing for a recall this weekend. I'm desperately excited to see him back on the field for us," Wilson told the Blues' website.

"In his first performance for us, and in just half a game against Zebre, he showed all the qualities he has as a player and was terrific.

"There has already been an impact in training with him back so we are really hoping the weekend goes well for him and it will be great to see him back in our shirt."
