They beat Worcester 27-8, with tries from Marcello Violi and Tommaso Boni while young props Andrea Lovotti and Pietro Ceccarelli also impressed.
Young fly-half Carlo Canna also kept the scoreboard ticking over with four penalties, a conversion and a drop goal on a great day for the Italian side.
And Guidi is optimistic for the club going forward after their third win of the season.
"Today we saw a great performance: two good tries, we dominated in the individual battles in difficult weather conditions," said Guidi.
"I'm disappointed that we conceded the try at the end of the game but I'm pleased for the boys, who worked hard this week and on the pitch.
"It's a long path and we need to carry on like this. Performances like these bode well for the future.
"On a day like this, where you would expect to have more set-pieces, all the forwards played really well, with young guys like Lovotti and Ceccarelli who played at international level."
