Jamie Ritchie, Rory Sutherland, Magnus Bradbury and man of the match Hamish Watson all impressed, with the latter two grabbing tries for the GUINNESS PRO12 side.
Mike Coman and Greig Tonks also crossed over as Edinburgh moved onto 17 points from five games and to the top of Pool 5.
"I said to the players before the game, 'we're looking a little into the future tonight'," said Solomons.
"A lot of these young boys are going to carry Edinburgh in the years to come and that's why I was excited about the game and pleased to get the result at the end.
"We needed to build our innings because I felt that if we kept at it, in the last 20 minutes, they would tire in that battle. I think they did that and we started to really get on top."
Edinburgh's final pool game will be at Grenoble next Saturday and Solomons is already thinking about finishing on a high.
"The important thing was we had to get a bonus point to stay in contention," he added. "That was absolutely vital and we managed to get it.
"We know that is an important game [against Grenoble]. It'll be a very tough game for us, but we have the capability. We have to perform really well on the night."
