After a first spell with Zebre, de Marigny spent last season with Rugby Parma and has also worked extensively at age group level but returns to join Gianluca Guidi's coaching staff for the upcoming campaign.
"I'm delighted to return to Zebre and reunite with the staff and players with whom I've worked in previous years like Gianluca Guidi and Victor Jimenez with the Accademia," he said.
"This is a moment of growth for me as a coach. The experience with Rugby Parma has really helped me learn about the world of club rugby where you not only have the pitch aspect but also the dynamic of everything off the pitch in a non-professional environment."
Meanwhile Guidi added: "Zebre's coaching staff has brought in someone with great value and a very competent coach with a lot of passion.
"It will be very important for us to have someone like Roland. His experience with the National Academy is the best possible preparation to develop youngsters at Zebre."
