And after the Scarlets left Musgrave Park with a 13-6 RaboDirect PRO12 victory back in November, Sherry and co were looking to dish out some revenge.
But it wasn't to be as the Scarlets recorded a RaboDirect PRO12 double over with an 18-10 win thanks to the boot of Owen Williams - the fly-half landing five penalties and a drop goal.
And Sherry, who was sin-binned in the second half, is adamant Munster made it all too easy for Scarlets to stroll to the win.
"It was a disappointing night," Sherry told the Irish Independent. "The Scarlets beat us in Cork so we came over there with a mission to try and reverse that.
"I thought we dominated the set-piece, our scrum and lineout went very well, but for all the dominance we had, I don't think we did much off it.
"We gave their kicker too many opportunities through ill-discipline and a bit of back-chat to the referee, which is disappointing."
