Zebre welcome Leinster to Italy in the RaboDirect PRO12 on April 21, for a match that will raise money for the provinces of Emilia and Lombardia which were affected by an earthquake last year.
The match will be the first ever played at Stadio Citta del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia.
Centre Garcia was part of the Italy team that beat Ireland 22-15 on the final Six Nations weekend last month.
And he is looking forward to meeting some of Ireland's beaten internationals when Leinster visit.
"Leinster are a top-class European team," he said. "It will be a good match for us as a group to measure ourselves against a team who has won the last two Heineken Cups.
"I'm sure that everyone who saw the Italy v Ireland game in the Six Nations won't want to miss the game on April 21 at Reggio Emilia, a game which will again see lots of internationals on both sides.
"I think the Irish players will be desperate not to lose again in Italy after the defeat in Rome."
The Argentine-born 29-year-old admits the game is about more than the action on the pitch, but he believes the players can show how rugby can help in times of need.
"The game at Reggio Emilia is a great opportunity to show what rugby can offer," he added. "To show how our sport can help people in need.
"Rugby, and our squad at Zebre, can help the families who suffered so much a year ago, with a day where they can experience a great sporting challenge from close-up."
