Treviso looking for more consistency

Under the guidance of head coach Franco Smith, Treviso continued to go from strength to strength last season, finishing seventh in the RaboDirect PRO12 table with ten wins, including a mightily impressive 41-17 away win against the Scarlets in their last match of the season.

This campaign will be Treviso's fourth in the RaboDirect PRO12 and Smith's side are back in pre-season - their Italian internationals who featured in the quadrangular tournament in South Africa this summer aside.

And Zatta is determined to ensure Treviso continue to build on their progress from the previous season, claiming consistency will be key.

He said: "This year we can expect a particularly significant season. Our goal is to learn form the past experience and to grow further on. The watchword must be concreteness, something we lost sometimes in the past."
