The 20-team tournament was organised by development manager Doc McKelvey and recently appointed community coach David O'Hagan, as part of a growing set of initiatives organised to offer memorable sporting experiences for young rugby fans.
McKelvey said: "We want as many clubs and school children in our region to be part of Edinburgh Rugby, by having some great fun on the back pitches before coming into the stadium to cheer on the team.
"We run masterclasses on every match night for around 100 kids but this tournament was on a different scale and is another big step towards what we want to consistently deliver on Edinburgh Rugby match-days."
Meanwhile, Edinburgh Rugby players were out in force earlier this month as part of the latest '#ERBlitz' night, offering advice and specialist coaching to youngsters across the region.
The squad traveled to five rugby clubs/schools across the east of Scotland, with another five
getting the same treatment a week later.
The events gave the opportunity for local rugby players, in teams aged from seven to senior adults, to develop their skills and conditioning.
McKelvey added: "The feedback for the ERBlitz nights has been tremendous, and help to freshen club and school training that evening and act as a tool to attract new members."
