The 25-year-old featured eight times for the province last season - including their semi-final defeat to Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun.
Murray has also found himself as a regular in the Ireland setup, playing all five of their matches during the victorious Six Nations campaign.
And Murray says that the big stage doesn't frighten him and that he is finally playing in the matches he dreamed of as a kid.
"I don't see it as pressure," he told the Irish Examiner.
"When you are younger, you dream of playing in the big games, of being a big player or whatever they want to label you as.
"I enjoy that responsibility. Over the last couple of years, I found myself getting a bit better and becoming more confident and trusting myself more with that added so-called pressure.
"You are in two great teams where all your team-mates are going to work for you.
