The No.8 ended a frustrating five-month spell on the sidelines due to a concussion lay-off and subsequent hamstring tear by coming off the bench in last weekend's victory over Lyon.
The result made it three wins on the bounce in all competitions for Alan Solomons' side, with success at Bordeaux Begles following a 24-10 defeat of Newport Gwent Dragons at BT Murrayfield in round six.
Despite being struck down by illness during the week, Denton will make his return to the starting line up in tough circumstances as Edinburgh seek their first away triumph over Leinster since 2005.
Although the visitors have 18 players missing through injury and two others away on Scotland duty, the 24-year-old is confident Edinburgh have a squad worthy of challenging teams of Leinster's calibre.
"I'm delighted to be back from the injury and although I have been as sick as a dog this week, I'll pull through the game and go from there," said Denton.
"The mood in the camp is pretty relaxed considering the number of changes we've had to make through injury and international call-ups.
"It's obviously not ideal and it was especially gutting to see Grant Gilchrist go down as to pick up a long-term injury on the eve of captaining your country must be heart-breaking.
"But we're actually not in that bad a place as a team seeing as we've been building the squad for the last year.
"We definitely have enough to trouble Leinster - no doubt they are a very strong team but are in a similar position to us with having to rest a lot of international players and we're confident.
"It will be a good challenge and if we are still in the game on 60 minutes then we're in with a real chance."
