Back rower Grant returned to the Edinburgh fold for their 28-13 victory over Cardiff Blues last time out, their fourth GUINNESS PRO12 win in their last five games.
Next up to take on the in-form Scots are Zebre, a side who last won on September 27 when they put Ulster to the sword.
But despite their opposing form, Grant is not getting carried away ahead of a difficult test in Italy.
"They're big physically, they've got a big forward pack and have some strong runners in the back line," he said.
"It's a big challenge to front up physically and that's an aspect of the game we enjoy, as a pack."
Edinburgh are boosted by the return of Scotland internationals Ross Ford and Tim Visser for the game with Zebre, much to head coach Alan Solomons' delight.
Solomons said: "It is great to have Fordy and Viss back. Fordy has played terrific rugby in the autumn internationals and will add huge value to the team.
"Zebre at home are a tough proposition and we will need to perform really well to get a result."
