The 23-year-old Canadian was rewarded with man of the match for an all-action performance at the Liberty Stadium as his side saw off the Munstermen 26-12.
And it was a performance that Ospreys needed, with Wales lock Alun Wyn Jones watching on from the stands and several second-rows out through injury.
However, Ardron has refused to take the plaudits for the victory, instead insisting that a cohesive team display was far more important than a stand-out individual performance.
"I'd guess it would have been tough to pick out one player from that team performance as we had plenty of boys out there putting in a huge physical effort right across the park," Ardron told the club's website.
"We focused on specific areas for this game, particularly around the set-piece, and the whole squad put in a huge shift. I'm honoured with the selection but I won't get carried away as it was a real team effort to get this win.
"It's good to have some momentum going forward and we'll have the added experience and quality of the Wales boys coming back into the group before the next game, which will give us another boost for a critical time.
"It's easy to talk about the Zebre game next up but we can't just talk, or just stay where we are in terms of performance, we've got to improve again. If we can do that, we'll be going in the right direction."
