Bennett has endured an injury-hit season for Warriors, making just four GUINESS PRO12 appearances and registering one try against Connacht back in September.
But he has returned to full fitness to play a part in Scotland's last four internationals, including crossing the whitewash in consecutive games against Italy and England.
Unfortunately for the 22-year-old, results on the field have not been as positive with Scotland failing to pick up a win in 2015 so far.
Their next chance to change that comes at home to Ireland on Saturday and Bennett admits all efforts will be on reversing the Scots' fortunes.
"We really need to go into the week knowing that we can win," he told the Scotsman.
"The whole week is about preparing to win. We've got to go out next Saturday and get the win.
"Getting the win next week is huge. It would put us in a better position in the tournament and a better position to build on come World Cup time.
"Our performances have been a lot better than results have shown. With the way that we've played in three out of the four games - the Italy game being a bit of a blip - I wouldn't have expected us to be bottom.
"We're playing the way we want to, we're starting to create opportunities."
