Born in Udine on January 31st 1984 (193 cm, 108 kg), he is currently playing his sixth season with the Lions, having come from Calvisano in 2009/2010 (previously he played for his native Rugby Udine).
With the green and whites he has won the Italian Championship, a Super Cup and an Italian Cup and has been part of the team for five seasons of the Celtic League/PRO12.
He has worn the prestigious shirt of the Barbarians and has 87 caps with the Italian National Side.
A knee injury back in Round 1 of the RBS Six Nations 2015, led to surgery with allograft technology and an estimated rehabilitation time of five months, which means the season is over and the player will be back in action this summer.
