The 21-year-old centre saw the power of Glasgow's back line first hand as a Stuart Hogg double and scores from Mark Bennett, DTH Van Der Merwe, and Henry Pyrgos condemned Connacht to a 39-21 defeat in September's GUINNESS PRO12 clash.
And after losing their unbeaten run last weekend to Wales, Henshaw - who has played 80 minutes in all eight GUINNESS PRO12 matches in which he has featured this season - admits Ireland will have to bring their A-game if they are to overcome a Scotland side with a point to prove.
"Scotland will be a really tough challenge for us," he told Irish Rugby TV.
"They have quite a few Glasgow Warriors players in their back-line who have been doing really well in the GUINNESS PRO12.
"The likes of Stuart Hogg, their wingers, and Mark Bennett in the centre as well all make for a really nice back-line there so I think we'll have to be sharp on our feet on Saturday and defend really well.
"Their forward line are strong as well and create good go-forward ball, so we'll have to match them physically and bring in some line speed as well.
"We've picked ourselves up now and dusted ourselves off from what was a very disappointing loss last weekend. We know we were going really well before that, and this week we are training really well and looking at putting on the best performance that we can do against Scotland."
