Those results did earn them two losing bonus points and the Italians have exhibited a more miserly defence than the one which saw them concede an average of 29.1 points per league game last term.
Treviso's next chance to pick up a maiden triumph of the campaign comes this Friday, although they face a tricky trip to the Kingspan Stadium to take on Ulster.
And as they look to finish as the top Italian team in the GUINNESS PRO12 for a sixth consecutive season, Casellato is aware that his troops need to start turning positive performances into points.
"From my point of view rather than honourable defeats, I would talk about missed opportunities to win," he told RovigoOggi.it.
"Against Munster we were not able to score points with a couple of opportunities at decisive moments of the match.
"Beyond the disappointment at the results, there is still the satisfaction of having played two good games though.
"The statistics about tackles made show that we have improved in defence and we have become more disciplined. If we maintain this level of performance we can definitely make an impact.
"After the World Cup, we will regain our international players. In the meantime, we are doing well - even if we have to improve in attack."
