The committee comprised of John Kirk (Scotland, chair), Rob Flockhart (Scotland) and Iain Goodall (Scotland), having been cited for an infringement of Law 10.4(k) (charging into a ruck or maul without binding onto a player in the ruck or maul) in the match between Munster and Llanelli Scarlets at Musgrave Park on 25 November 2012.
The Disciplinary Committee found that the player had committed the act of foul play, and found that it merited a low end entry point. After applying aggravating and mitigating factors, the Disciplinary Committee imposed a sanction of two weeks.
The player will be free to play from Monday, 10 December 2012 and has a right of appeal.
